I can't believe Thanksgiving has come and gone already. Let the holiday season begin!
This year Thanksgiving was a bit untraditional. Unfortunately my family spent Thanksgiving in the ICU visiting my mom. Although it wasn't exactly what any of us had in mind for the start of the holiday season, it ended up being a happy day. I found myself thinking about all of the things I am thankful for that really matter, things that I sometimes take for granted. I have the most amazing family in the world, we are so blessed to have a family so full of love for one another.
Thursday morning before getting out of bed the baby was moving around like crazy (I think he was excited for his first Thanksgiving). Matt put his hand on my belly and felt him move for the first time. I love feeling the baby move and it was so special to finally be able to share this with him. I am truly enjoying being pregnant these days. Its hard to describe the absolutely amazing feeling of having a life being created inside of your body. I fall more in love with our little baby every day. I consider my self truly blessed to be able to carry a life inside of me.
