Matt and I came home on Sunday and noticed Dasher's head was quite dirty, in fact it was almost black. We realized we had left the fire pit out from Matt's birthday the previous weekend, and Dashie must have gotten into the burnt wood. We went outside to investigate and sure enough he had taken the half burnt log out of the fire pit and chewed it up on the lawn. As soon as we walked out the back door Dash started rolling in all of the mess he had made on the lawn. He was soon covered in black soot. He was trying out being a black lab. We thought he was pretty darn cute with all of his black spots. It didn't last long, I quickly got on the phone to make him a spa appointment for a bath. By 3:30 he was back to being a yellow lab.
Mommy ruins all the fun!
