Update

I'm now 37 weeks pregnant and feeling pretty darn tired. Every little task just keeps getting more and more difficult and time consuming to accomplish. However, I do love feeling our baby move, kick, and turn more often than ever before. I woke up the other morning and Matt told me that in the middle of the night he woke up and put his hand on my belly and the baby immediately kicked super hard. I thought this was pretty awesome, since he hardly ever gets to feel him move. We are finishing up purchasing and assembling the last of the major necessities before our little bundle arrives. I seem to be getting more and more emotional as the pregnancy progresses, I didn't have the surge of emotions during my first trimester that I hear some pregnant moms experience, but in the last few weeks I have been more emotional than ever before. Little things make me react in unexpected ways (Matt would say this is a nice way of saying I'm just a basket case). It's okay I've only had one major melt down- and recovered quickly :) Strollers are NOT easy to assemble, especially when you're trying to follow directions in Spanish.... that's all I'm saying.
I went to see Dr. Wilson last Friday and found out that the baby is no longer breech! This was the best news I could possibly hope for. Now I'm right on track for a normal birth and delivery! I am going to keep my appointment for the ultrasound scheduled for next Monday 3/22/10 originally because he was breech, to check in on him to see if he had flipped, so he can be measured- since he was a little small at the last ultrasound.
Matt asked me this morning if I had any instinctive feeling about when the baby would be born, I had to say, I have NO clue! Sometimes I feel like I could just go into labor at any moment and other times I feel like I may need to be induced around my due date. I was a whole 1cm dilated and 40% effaced on Friday for my first check with Dr. Wilson, so this made me feel like I'll probably be pregnant forever. Dr. Wilson is on vacation this week so baby and I have discussed that he needs to cook for at least one more week and let his lungs mature. Little Caucasian baby boys born before their due dates usually have a harder time breathing if they are born early than girls and kids of ethnicity. So, we are in no real hurry.
