This morning was my last scheduled OB appointment. I am now officially overdue! Sunday was my due date, Sunday came and went and I still don't have my baby in my arms. This weekend I will be 41 weeks pregnant so I am scheduled for an induction on Friday morning at 8am. I still hold out hope that he decides to grace this world with his presence before then. I have to say, in my mind I have always pictured going into labor at home and walking into OB triage in full on labor and delivering shortly afterward. I guess Hudson has other plans. That's okay, I guess this is what motherhood is all about....being flexible. Regardless on how he enters this world, Matt and I could not be more excited! I can't believe this is my last week of not being mommy.
Overall, pregnancy has been pretty easy. I've experienced most of the typical feelings and emotions that typically go along with being pregnant. I didn't love the morning, afternoon, evening, and night sickness but in the big scheme of things, it didn't last that long. The fatigue was manageable and I didn't get super emotional until the last few months. I've had a fairly uneventful pregnancy--Thank God! I can only hope my delivery goes just as smoothly. I've hung on and continued to work, so I can have more time with the the little man after he's born. Today is my last day, thank goodness! I was scheduled to work on Friday but now I have something better to do that day! I will update the blog as much as possible after he is born, and the updates will be much more interesting because I'll actually have pictures to post!
