Mothers Day

I am so blessed to have such an amazing family. This year on Mothers Day not only did I get to celebrate my mom and mother-in-law but I got to be celebrated as well! Now, I felt like I was cheating a little because I've only been at this mommy thing for a month, regardless I  enjoyed every moment of my celebration. We had Champagne Brunch at The San Marcos in the morning with my mom, dad, and sister. The brunch was just as amazing as I had remembered.  In the evening we went to the Miners house and had martini's and dessert, and celebrated with them. It was such a lovely day. Matt took Hudson out in the morning to run a few errands and I was able to get ready for the day without any distractions, a luxury I have not had for the last month. When they came home from their errands Matt changed him into a new outfit that said "I love mommy". I have the sweetest husband in the world he also had two bouquets of tulips (my favorite) one from him and the other was from Dasher. Hudson gave me the sweetest necklace with "Hudson Michael 04-07-10" stamped into it.
I feel that it's true what they say, Motherhood is really one of the most exhausting but rewarding experiences a person can experience. I have loved being a mommy, my heart has never been so full of love. I have also never been more exhausted emotionally and physically, but I get so much in return sometimes I don't even realize how tired I am until he is sleeping.
I love you sweet baby Hudson, you make my heart so happy just by looking at you. I love watching you grow. I think about you constantly. I can't stop wondering what you are thinking and dreaming about. I love how much you love being held. I admire how you don't know what fear is yet. I envy the simplicity of your needs.
