Last weekend we took Hudson on his first out of state road trip. He was fantastic! I had nightmares about spending six or seven hours in a car with a screaming baby. He only had a few very short break downs in the car. We had a great time cheering my dad on as he ran the P.F. Changs 1/2 marathon. We were all so proud of him! It was such a great trip, it was so nice to get away from the excessive heat warnings of Phoenix and into the 60's and 70's. We met Aunt Christy, Uncle David, and cousins Andy and Brian at the beach for dinner on Saturday night. We explored downtown San Diego and took trolley's and busses all over the city. Hudson was such a trooper, he seemed to enjoy being on the go all weekend. On top of it all, we had a great hotel! I must remember it for future visits- Hotel Indigo in the Gas Lamp District.
