For the last two weeks the Miner family has been on the move! First we went to California for the Beach Festival in San Clemente. We try to go every year. San Clemente is a special place for Matt and I since it's where we got engaged and then married 3 years later. We left a few days early and got to spend a little time with my Aunt Christy and Uncle David and two cousins Andy and Brian. We had such a good time visiting and exploring the beautiful San Diego beaches. We headed up to San Clemente a few days later and had a great time on those beautiful beaches as well. The miner family and friends participated in the annual sand sculpture contest and won first place...yet again! It was so nice to get out of the 115 degree heat of the desert and onto the beach where it didn't get above the mid 70's all week. Bliss.....
Last weekend we headed north to Flagstaff for a family reunion. We met my mom's whole family up at my Uncle Ed and Aunt Shelly's house. We used to get together around the holidays but it was just getting too hectic and hard to schedule so now we have decided to get together during a less busy time of year. It was so nice, all of my mom's sisters and her brother and most of the kids were there. I just love my family, we have such a good time together.
Here are a few pics from all of our travels.
