Do You Ever Wish You Could Bottle It Up?

Do you ever wish you could bottle up your baby's good mood and take it out in little doses whenever you need it? Tonight, Hudson was in the best mood. We had such a full day, it started with swimming class then a quick lunch and about a 45 minute nap, then some shopping, and out for dinner with friends. As we were driving home from dinner around 9:15 (over an hour past his bedtime) I thought for sure he would be passed out in the back by the time we got home. To my surprise, when I opened up the back door he gave me the cutest smile and started laughing. I took him out and he ran around the house chasing Dasher and laughing for about 20 minutes while I got ready for bed. Then, he actually let me brush his teeth. He just laughed and giggled the whole time. I snuggled with him for a while and put him in bed. No cries. No fuss. No whining. He just snuggled himself down with his blanket and Scout and I haven't heard a peep from him since. Words can't describe how much I love nights like tonight.
