So it's been a few weeks and the reality of pregnancy has really set in. I was so excited to tell all of my family and friends. Now it's not just "Our little secret". My parents have officially gone crazy with baby excitement, Matt jokes that our child already has a wardrobe from birth to age 18! Martha and Tom are also super excited that Dylan is going to have a cousin.
I have my first doctors appointment on Friday the 28th. Words cant describe how excited I am! I can't wait to see the little flicker of a heart beat on the ultrasound machine. I think it will bring on a whole new rush of emotions and reality. Of course I have the normal fears and worries any expectant mommy would have about what if there is no heart beat or.... what if there is more than one little heart beat! I'm trying not to dwell too much on my worries and instead focus more on what an amazing gift I have been given.
Over the last 5 or so weeks I feel like Matt and I have been closer than ever. This is the first time either one of us has taken on this kind of life changing responsibility. We are constantly talking about how life as we know it will be changed forever. We have tried to discuss the new changes with Dasher. He knows something is going on, I constantly offer him reassurance that he will always be my first baby Dashie. He's such an emotional puppy!

Here are a few pictures from my birthday party. I apologize about the quality of the photo's I'll have to work on figuring out how to get a better quality picture on here.

And I'll never be 25 again! (Don't worry it's sparkling cider in my hand, not Champagne)
