Today I had my first official ultrasound, by official I mean done by an actual ultrasound tech, not my nurse practitioner. It was so amazing, just to think just last week he/she looked just like a little blob, and this week we can see little tiny hand and feet "buds"! We were also able to hear the heart beat. I remember thinking how awesome this sound was when I worked in the Ob-Gyn office, but it is just amazing knowing that's OUR baby! The heart rate was 182 (I seem to remember hearing that higher heart rates are found in baby girls..... we will just have to wait and see!). The tech said this heart rate was perfectly normal. The baby was super active, it was so much fun to see the little peanut moving all around! Right how baby is only about one inch long so he/she has tons of room to move. Here are some of the pictures.
