Today Hudson is officially one week old. I can hardly believe it. It's crazy that we have been a family of three (+ the Dash) for one full week! We have been mostly hanging out at home just adjusting to life. Today we went on our first real outing to lunch and Costco.
Here are a few things I never want to forget from this first week of your life Mr. Hudson:
~ The way you love to snuggle all bundled up on my chest.
~ The way you stare at me with your eyes wide open while feeding, I could stare into these eyes all day.
~ The way you sometimes just open one eye and stare at us, daddy calls you Popeye when you do this.
~ The sweet little noises you make.
~ The way you guzzle your bottle in the middle of the night and make all kinds of noises as if you were saying, "Thank you mamma for letting me have a bottle, I'm just too tired to work for my food at 2 am".
~The way you fold your hands on your chest and play with your fingers.
~The way you smell.
~The way you can just hang out, even when you're awake in your boppy or on one of our laps, no entertainment necessary.
~The way daddy looks at you with so much love in his eyes.
~ The way you make me feel.
