Two

Hudson Sweet Baby Love,

  You turned two today. It happened so fast, how could it be? I feel like I just gave birth to you yesterday. I have had so much fun watching you grow into the sweetest little toddler in the world. You are the funniest kid i've ever met (and i've met a lot of kids).  

It's impossible to narrow it down to the two things I love most about you, but here are the top two on my long list.

1) I love how much love you have for your family. Not just Mommy and Daddy, but Dasher and all of your grandparents, aunties, and uncles.

2) I love your sweet voice. Hearing you talk and sing makes my heart smile. Sometimes I listen to you talk/sing to yourself and all of your toys in you crib on your baby monitor for a little while before I get you out of bed in the morning. 

Over the past year you have grown out of that "baby" stage and into being 100% toddler.  You are Mr. Independent and you get so much satisfaction out of doing things yourself. I love love love this about you! I can literally watch you learn and grow right in front of my eyes. 

Your vocabulary has blossomed since you started at daycare in December. You have always been a chatty one, but now we can understand most of what you are saying. I love it! You ask for what you want and sometimes even understand the reason if we have to say "no". 

You are such a singer, you first song was "Happy Birthday" now you sing all kinds of songs, including "You Are My Sunshine", "ABC's", "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star", "If You're Happy and You Know It", and many more. Sometimes you even make up songs. 

You're still into BIG TRUCKS, Tractors, Trains- pretty much anything with wheels. Yes, you are totally your Father's son. We enjoy taking you on bike rides in your trailer, but Daddy say's you'll be riding your own bike very soon. 

Hudson, words can't even come close to describing the love Daddy and I have for you.
